Certificate Requirements and Course Details
The online Certificate of Cancer Registry Management is a 24-credit hour program and may be completed in as little as one year, assuming full-time enrollment and the completion of pre-requisite requirements. The program also may be completed on a part-time basis and students taking a minimum of 6 semester hours may be eligible for financial assistance.
Certification
Students completing the program will receive a Certificate of Cancer Registry Management. Students with an Associate Degree or the requirement of other college course work will be eligible to sit for the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR).
Depending on background and experiences, those earning their Certificate of Cancer Registry Management obtain employment in the following roles:
- Cancer Registrar
- Oncology Data Specialist
- Registry Analyst
- Manager, Accreditation and Cancer Registrar

Long history of service
The Charter of Andrew College was granted in 1854, making it the second oldest charter in the United States giving an educational institution the right to confer degrees upon women. The institution became co-educational in 1956, and this year marks its 165th year of service.
